Due to our growth at Business One B.V. we currently have an opening for a SAP Business One Sales Consultant located in Willemstad, Curacao. We are looking for an ERP sales consultant to proactively engage and successfully close business with potential new customers, where the customers’ requirements align with Business One's offerings of software and IT services. If you are experienced in the area of ERP systems within the SMB space and you are looking for a challenge and an opportunity to maximize your return on invested effort, this position is for you!

Business One's offerings include SAP Business One implementations, although we also provide services to existing users of these systems, as well as associated hardware and managed services.

Key Tasks and responsibilities

  • Build relationships with potential new customers to Business One

  • Qualify opportunities to determine whether their requirements can be met.

  • Understand the full range of products and services supplied by Business One B.V. and be able to explain the benefits of these to potential customers.

  • Represent the company in an honest and professional manner at all times.

  • Carry out initial requirements gathering exercises to obtain detailed information on a potential new customer.

  • Build presentations and demonstrations to potential new customers.

  • Design and execute an effective sales campaign for each opportunity.

  • Build accurate and professional proposals and quotations.

  • Consistently meet pre-agreed sales targets.

  • Occasionally attend industry networking events.

  • Attend monthly internal Sales meetings.

  • Keep up to date with new technologies, complimentary software and competitive offerings.

  • Any other reasonable task as requested by Management.

  • Although you will be given new opportunities to work on from our lead generation and marketing team, you will also be expected to create new opportunities yourself from time to time.

  • Although the role is focused on new business, you may also have the opportunity to sell to some of Business One’s existing customer base too.

In this role you will bring

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience selling ERP systems in the SMB market

  • Excellent consultative selling skills and the ability to forge strong relationships from C level executives to operations level

  • The ability to learn quickly and a general knowledge of accounting principles

  • Familiarity with the market of industry ERP systems such as SAP, Microsoft, Sage, and Epicor is an asset.

  • Technical knowledge and sales experience, facilitated by excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to convincingly communicate concepts to others

  • Excellent communication and relationship/partnership building skills
